Do you have any evidence at all that that's the case, or is it more that your brain is jumping to conclusions? Have you asked them about their silence to see what they have to say about it? You can always make a list of all the other reasons you can think of that might cause your friend to not talk to you for a bit, that don't involve rumors (make arguments against the 'rumor' belief)

And if all else fails confront them about it and be direct. However if they really were your friend they wouldn't stop speaking over rumors.

@FeistyKitten I was, there's only radio-silence. That's why I got worried either here or in the old discord server, someone said something about me. I wouldn't have been mad if they didn't want to be friends with me anymore but they could at least cut that cord, you know?

Oh, your first post didn't give a time frame so I thought we were talking about a silence of a few weeks or something like that. Hmm, I don't know what to say. You could try asking again, being honest in that you don't know why they aren't talking to you and that you're concerned about them.
