No lucky enough there is no hoa. I moved into my camping trailer in a small trailer park so less stress. These landlords take the cake what they tried on me as I rented all my life but never had this happen.

Oh yeah, some will do their damndest to screw you out of every penny even if you're the best renter. Can be absolutely outrageous. Best thing you can do is thorough read through of contract and know the law in your area about renting and such.

We aren't on a lease or contract. They used to be our friends however I took out my whole 140k from my pervious job to buy brand new furniture. They never fixed things did quick patches. The place is falling apart. Infested with bugs which is why I wanted to move. They told me they have dibs on my furniture for giving me a deal on the price of rent. When I told them no they locked me out.
