Ehh, maybe I'm looking in the wrong places then. I've gotten so sick of the anti-social, untrusting, whiny shits that I think I'm even starting to miss the cry baby Uke's of old @_@
This is why I don't Seme, so many hostile, rude uke's that I can't love, my uke's aren't even close to that so why can't others be lovable dudes?! Bagh!
Oh god, you know it's bad when you're missing the old "nyaaa" ukes. xDD
Good ukes are as just as difficult to come by as good semes are (or even sekes, for that matter).
I think the problem essentially lies with the fiesty uke hype people are going with after the bashing on the 'kawai desu-ne' cry baby uke's. "My uke has a backbone, so he'll spit at you, and yell at you. But you are supposed to love and sex him up, but you need to work for it to make him love your seme." Seems to be the general attitude Uke players seem to have, and they think it's actually cool.
Thanks for the comments; @Kota It's not so much good/bad as much as it monotonous. Even if they're awesome roleplayers the character personality alone is infuriating enough to strike them out. @mistake. Yeah, not sure if people still demand realism around here, but if people are going to play rude characters, there needs to be some sort of hook to keep the other character involved/interested. @Dalex Oh dear lord, feisty Ukes... where to begin? Think I'll just say it's not cool, at least not in my eyes. Hopefully not all Uke's have that type of attitude.
Agreed, I've never seen that hook though so I stick to Uke and Seke when I can because I actually don't play rude/asshole/bitchy/spoiled uke's, not my thing so I stick to my sorta dude :3
I like to play all different kinds of ukes, depending on the story line/plot. I find it hard to play seme myself, as many ukes I tend to come across I just can't properly get into, especially if the story is bland. There are RARE occasions where I might play seke, but it honestly depends on the situation at hand ^.^
This is so confusing.... how is it that everyone (including Ukes) think that Uke's are shitty, unpleasant, or uninteresting... and yet there's still an abudance of the exact type people aren't interested in. Are people really that daft? Or do people just not care >_>
Yeah I wanted a wanted sweet uke and 99 percent of the time they ditch our plot, I am somewhat guilty of this in the past but I try my best now to add a redemption part on my ukes. I guess its more alluring for some
@MayDay; and there lies the problem. Switching out to a Seke doesn't solve anything. That's like switching a rotten apple with a rotten pear and saying it's all better.... Fruit's still rotten.
