I think too a lot of people have been on this site a long time. Not sure if you see such longevity on other sites.

@BratWrecker other sites don't last this long. This is the... fourth one I've been to and to be fair the last one I was in didn't disappear but we really thought it was gonna decease on us.

I'm also finding a lot of RP partners from like... 6 years ago on here. And I was like "dang... never thought id see you again after that site we were on together turned belly up". That was like... 3 RP sites ago for me...

But I saw someone post about finding an RP from 2007 and I'm like *whistles*. Because usually I'm the one that's been RPing for-like- ever and I'm finding people that make me look like a wee lad on here? Psh...

I don't think age has much to do with it, bur rather the crowd. YD is definitely a special case. Try any other general RP site and you'll see how much worse it is, young or old, lol.

@Sihphae I think age does have something to do with it because it also effects the ages of the characters you're willing to play and how mature they act. In sites with a lower age base I can tell when someone is writing a character that they meant to be... 19 but they aged up to be... 25 for my age requirement. It just feels different
But then I felt there would be some dishonesty mixed in, so it probably wouldn't be accurate.
