I’m so sorry. Do you have Mac or Windows? I’m more familiar with Windows, but I can Google for you how to retrieve data on Mac if that’s what you have. In the Microsoft Store there is a free recovery software called Windows File Recovery. Try that. If not, my friend swears by Recuva. I’ve never personally used it though so I don’t know much about it.

I have Windows. I have tried both of those and they were unable to retrieve my photos. I have everything on my D driver as it holds 1 tb so easier to store. It was the first thing I did was try those when I found out I lost my photos and they couldn't retrieve anything.
