I started with writing, but it's so depressing and disappointing when you write stuff up, and then no one reads it... nevermind liking or commenting.
Maybe that's just me and my writing sucked, or I expected too much.
But I don't think I could ever go back to writing solo. I can't even do 1x1's anymore xD
I think it could also depend on the fandom. If it's small there could be few to no comments. Plot and ships also play big roles. Aside from Aizawa adopts Izuku fics I often don't read a fic if there is no romantic ship in it.
