Yeah. I hate that for you. Small towns are nice until no one wants to help cause you aren't from there. I live in the south too and constantly get told about Southern Hospitality. I been down here about 24 years, I have only seen actual good southern hospitality once.

I get told the same too. I'm originally from Connecticut and apparently I still have a "Yankee" accent according to them.

I was born in the south, and when I moved north, I had a southern accent. Now I have a northern accent. I don't know, honestly.

Yeah. Accents are weird. I have a degree in medical, office side sure, but I know a lot of other stuff cause of my disease plus I studied to be a nurse. And even I still think accents make no sense xD.
