    @Raika what’s funny is… this thread is mine that actually already exists from different sites when I’ve made my search thread in the past. So it’s not like I had to make it from scratch, and all I had to do was tweak it a bit already. Yet it still took me forever to get around to posting it here XD

    That's... a good thing I guess? Means you were able to find roleplays without a search thread I'm guessing? I don't know how things are nowadays, but a few years ago when I was around on here I kept getting PM's asking for roleplays, I'd ask them if they read my request thread, and they'd always answer with "Where is it?" or "I'll read it now"
    So maybe it's not that important, and I'm just a nitpicky pedantic xD

    Yeah haha, it worked out. I joined through someone else recommending this place, and I also ended up meeting some people I knew from other sites way back too, so it was kinda cool finding old rp partners here I'd lost contact with. I don't think you're picky at all though, search threads are definitely super helpful for getting a feel for people and their rp style/preferences/etc.

    Ahh yeah I do remember how Elysium got more restrictive in it's later years. I think that was after it merged with another site or sister forum, that had really been the start of those more strict rules and such once the two merged.

    I'm glad I found this place, I keep running into more people from Elysium, it's crazy haha, especially with how long ago Elysium had closed. It's almost that sort of 'small world' feeling, but online XD. In any case, I'm not sure what our rp styles are like compatibility wise, bit if you're interested in finding out and potentially rping, feel free to pm me!

    I feel like I recognize the username... from way way way back in the day... Did we used to RP many moons ago? You're about the right age too if we'd have been both starting out... though back then I was a seke, and since then I've ended up being more of a seme...

    And if you have our old rps saved somewhere that’d be cool to check them out! I think I had saved them too when the site first shut down, I usually do when that stuff happens, but they were on a diff computer that got destroyed ages ago so I’ve lost anything from that site lol.

    I'm 100% a better RPer since then. I've run into people from Ely here and even from the site I went to after that shut down (I can't remember the name). And every time they're like I think I remember you? I really liked your semes. I was like "Omg I don't play those types of characters anymore." ^.^'

    Not that there's anything wrong with people that like it, but my characters lacked emotional depth.

    Haha yeah I know that feeling, I’m the same with my characters. Like I still love the nostalgia that comes with my old rps, but whenever I read my really old posts I cringe at myself and am like oh god? I wrote that? XD
