    I don’t know if played much gacha games (minus KHux, but not my vibe). If you want, you can maybe find a list of gacha games on itch.io. They have a list of NSFW yaoi games you can play on PC/Steam that are p good. But if anyone has a list I’ll check them out. ^^’

    None of them are new but there's Twisted Wonderland, Ensemble Stars, Tokyo Debunker for non-smut gacha's, and then there's others like Nu;Carnival, What in Hell is Bad? Haven't played the latter two or know if they've EOS'd but they used to be popular picks

    I play heartopia but its mostly free to play. The only gacha is the cars/cosmetics

    Question: How often do you update your kinks list? Whether it be F-list, RQ thread, or some other document you refer people to? Got curious cause I saw someone roleplaying one of their strict "No" kinks. Made me realize I haven't updated mine in like 10 years xD

    Haha, it's nice to see that I'm not the only one who's neglected to keep it updated. It feels pointless at times since there's a part of me that thinks no one reads it... but I've looked at a few recently without them being any wiser, so I assume it does have some purpose.
    I don't think my kinks have changed much, but I'd like to think a few things have moved up and down between my fave/yes tiers.

    Well I can promise you, there are some insane people (definitely not me) that read their RP Partners flists almost every goddamn post xD I have the memory of a peanut, and a personal list that is long. So I very much love the flist x3

    @wondering: Don't curse your bad health! Last I checked curses make your health worse not better. You're definitely welcome to follow along though, and maybe when your health recovers we might even be able to slot you in... hopefully we're still running when that happens... I'd hate to be another dud group.

    @Scamp the Spinning Turtle: We were full at the start, but it's been 5 days since interest was expressed by one person and they haven't carried through. If they submit something I can accept them and whoever else (Only reason I'm not accepting anyone and everyone is because I don't want to overcrowd). So if you're interested, don't think of it as you stealing someone's spot away. I can adapt.

    Back here again, and this time hopefully for awhile. Community seems to have changed enough towards what I wanted xD And at the very least I've actually managed to start a roleplay this time xD

    Wondering what other Yaoi roleplaying forum still exist out there. And if there are any more active than here? Not really interested in migrating, just curious. Elysium/HouseAdonis used to be a direct competitor, and Wantsome had a bit in the past, but they're both dead AFAIK. I know some have moved to all-sexuality forums. But when it comes to Yaoi roleplay on forums, is there anywhere that beats YD?

    I know there's one that's fairly active but I didn't even bother with it because they have some ridiculous rules that basically ban anything omegaverse and certain other settings and are not keen on "problematic" content in general. Think it had something to do with Sanctuary or Sanctum in the name? All I remember is that had a glance at it and was like lmao nope

    Oh, didn't expect the sanctum place to be still running, I forgot about it the same way I forgot about places like Yaoi City and stuff xD
    I don't remember much about that place since I practically made an account, looked around and left, but it was either really dead, or as you said really dumb (years ago).

    I remember someone saying they were using it with some success err, last year? The one before? And that was when I checked it out. Might very well be it's already dead lol I can't imagine it would last very long in the first place

    Recently saw someone on discord saying that they loved doing BL roleplays, but they refused to roleplay with anyone who wasn't 30y+... cause young people are too sensitive, impatient, unreliable, etcetc. I've been out of the roleplaying scene for awhile so don't really know how the roleplay environment is these days, but is that a thing now? Would you roleplay with say a 18 year old fresh newbie to roleplaying?

    Are you saying that you'll roleplay with them, but you don't want to socialize or get to know them?

    @Raika I'll socialize with them, but I've only had a handful of partners actually turn into lasting friendships. (Not out of any preference, it's just how things turned out.) I have a lot of RPs going but a lot of them usually end up leaving the site without warning (not YaoiDream specifically, but every other site I've been on.)

    I'm hesitant to write with them but I would. In my experience people are impatient for replies and rude about it happen at any age. I'm willing to write with anyone that's an adult, so long as they're respectful and don't guilt trip and switch an attitude over reply times. Due to my health and my work, sometimes it takes me a week or so to respond, it's not becasue I'm ignoring I'm just overworked and exhausted

    Will admit, I'm a little bit of both. I'm definitely more character-focused than plot-focused, since I really enjoy it when my partners reply in an unexpected (but good) way, and the plot takes off on a completely new direction. But... I'm also a bit of an organization freak, so happy-go-lucky do whatever doesn't really work for me. Running groups lets me do a bit of both I guess? XD

    Sometimes I'll through some of potential partner's threads though when anyone would look through mine my posts vary. Some people will give me little and some will give me a lot. I'm told I'm decent. I play mostly a romantic seme or a slutty uke. xD

    I find myself more drawn to YD, personally. I should say I’ve found more ‘successful’ role plays here than on there. I’ve also noticed that YD is more active than Wantsome too, which is a major plus. You seem sort of familiar actually, perhaps I’ve seen you around Wantsome, lol. Who knows~

    I like WS setup more, but as you said YD has more activity. As for me being familiar? I kind of peaked out 2~3 years ago with yaoi. Mainly been on hetero forums, though I do bump a thread on WS or here from time to time.

    I do have to say that the forum set up is really nice on WS, but YD isn’t all too bad either. In all honesty, I’d rather be on a site that has more activity than just a bit every once in a while. I’m a bit of an optimistic realist (if that’s even a thing), and hope that I’ll be able to find ‘the one’ with a greater number of people present on the site.

    I have ukes of all varieties and semes of all varieties. But I find most of my partner semes don't seem to like cute innocent style ukes so I don't get to use them very much.

    Even though this is super old, I wanted to put my two cents in. I agree, it's really really REALLY hard to find a decent uke. I noticed that everyone say "mine is not whiny, x, y and z" but when you actually do play with them, they're the exact character that you don't want. Or they have these horrible personalities that I honestly don't even like and have to force my characters to like before I just abandon the plot. That's why I don't rp much cause I've only found one or two people who gets my attention or play characters that I actually wanna sink my teeth into. It's kind of sad :/ No shade to anyone honestly nor am I trying to come off as an elitist but I just want real characters who are really compatible and you're not forcing the relationship.
